The 70 year old pensioner killed outside Donegal Town last night has been named locally as John McGarrigle.Mr McGarrigle, a retired father-of-five from Ballyshannon, died after his jeep struck another jeep between Laghey and Ballintra around 10pm last night.He died at the scene and a number of other people had to be rushed to hospital. Their injuries are not understood to be life-threatening, however.The former fisheries officer was the second person to die on Donegal’s roads in less than 24 hours.Another man, Marty Strain, 19, who was a passeger in a car which crashed at Tooban, Burnfoot at 4.30am, died in the early hours of Sunday morning.Mr Strain, from Burnfoot, was friends with John Hegarty, who also perished on the same road in July. While the Galaxy J1 has been listed on the company’s website for Russia, the J1 Mini has been spotted on its website for Philippines.
